Let There Be…and So It Was!
This post is based on the Book of Genesis in the Holy Bible. Genesis is the first Book of the Bible where it talks about the creation of the earth and mankind. After reading this book for decades, I saw something new that I had not seen before. Many coaches, mentors, and motivators will tell you that you must have a vision first, speak it into exist, and you will see it manifest. However, I never realized those same principles were used in the creation of the earth and mankind.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:3 NKJV
Our words are powerful. If God chose to speak something in existence and then it was…why should we not utilize the same principles to accomplish the things we want to see manifest?
Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:21 NKJV
I learned to be careful of what I say, because it can manifest into existence. I am not saying that we are as powerful as God, but our words can be used to build things and people up or tear things and people down. You have to be careful of what you speak out in the atmosphere.
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 NKJV
If we are made in God’s image, then we should exemplify some of the characteristics of God. We may not be all knowing and all powerful. We definitely are not perfect, but we should show that we are trying to walk in the path that God is leading us into.
Speak positive, so that there will be positive manifesting in your life.
