If you are still living, then it is still possible for you to have the love you desire even after you have been hurt before. Some relationships in your life may have been intended only for a season. Those prior seasons help you to recognize when the right one comes along. They become a teachable reference as to what you don’t want in a relationship.
If you remain shielded, you will not be open to experience love from the right person. Of course, you should not be open to any and every one that comes along but be selective. Recognize if the person has the capability of honoring and loving you the way you desire to be treated.
Does the person have the tools to deliver what you desire?
Just because a person is good looking or there is an attraction does not give them the ability to give you what you desire. Don’t just give yourself away to anyone who comes along and say, “I love you,” or “I want to marry you.” It has been proven for centuries that some people will say anything to get what they want. It does not mean they are being honest.
Some good people are not relationship material.
You may find that it is beneficial to look into what type of relationships they experienced as a child Whatever they witnessed from their parents, you can trust that they will bring some of that to your relationships and likewise.
But in it all, you should be open to find the love of your life, but also guard your heart. It is a precious commodity that should not be made available to anyone. It should only be available to those who have shown they have the capability to give the love you desire by their actions and not what they say.
The experience of real love is something that is a gift from God. It is indescribable. You don’t want to waste time with the wrong one trying to make him the right one. Be in the presence of the right one and share you journey together!
